I was on the BBC Radio Scotland's Book Cafe on Monday with the delightful Clare English, and Ian Rankin, talking about the Great Bookshops Blog and Edgar Allan Poe. You can listen again HERE
Hi Richard, what a great idea. We should do everything we can to support them before they end up like Woollies. I can recommend Toppings, of Ely, which also has a branch in Bath.
I could make a YouTube there for you one day if you like.
This is a blog dedicated to the best independent book shops. Not those that are part of a large national chain, but those that are much more the one of a kind, kind; shops that offer readers enthusiastic and knowledgeable advice, ones that are run by people who are passionate about books, not product.
I'd love to hear from anyone with any bookshop recommendations. Just email me via my web site (link below) with your thoughts on 'Great Bookshops' you have discovered.
